heli flight over sydney

LOCATION: SYDNEY

One of the most amazing things in Australia was a 25 min private helicopter flight over Sydney and its suburbs. I bought this flight as a surprise ‚early birthday’ present for my boyfriend and as you can imagine - he was really surprised. We took the bus to the airport (which takes 70 min in Sydney, basically all distances in Australia are long) so he was very confused where we were heading to. I’ve never been in a helicopter before and it’s absolutely amazing. I can now understand everyone who wants to do a helicopter licence! Sydney from above is just beautiful! In the following pictures you can see North Sydney, Manly, Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach.

For this editorial I teamed up with Zara x Smiley and their new collection, available at selected Zara stores. They have several pieces like shirts and pullovers. If you follow me on snapchat (@viva_lamoda) you probably have seen my Emojis on the sweater in action! We wanted this story to be more life- and streetstyle so I paired the Zara pullover with my Zara jeans and Chanel Espadrilles. 

the lighthouse

LOCATION: SYDNEY

Lately I’ve been posting pictures from Watsons Bay on instagram and facebook and I needed to show you the editorial we shot at the beautiful striped lighthouse there. Watsons Bay is at the east end of Sydney and it’s definitely my favorite spot of the city with it’s beautiful victorian houses, hills and small restaurants at the beach with Sydenys skyline in the background. I’m wearing Aminah Abdul Jillil bow pumps, Madeleine Issing rings, my Michael Kors watch and a 9 bucks dress (no joke!). It was so windy but so much fun shooting this look, I hope you enjoy!

LOCATION: WÜRZBURG

Last Saturday @theloudcouture, @stylingliebe and me drove to the Mondelli concept store in Würzburg and enjoyed a fun day trying on clothes, chatting with other bloggers, photographing the store and having some drinks. It was a perfect girls day and the store’s easy and modern chic got me. I fell in love with the white Twinset dress and orange Le Specs sunnies and combined them with my Chloe drew bag and Tony Bianco heels. Ready for festival season now!

balloon flight

LOCATION: CANBERRA

One of the most amazing things I ever did was hot air ballooning in Canberra, Australia. I always wanted to go to a balloon festival and when I heard that they have one each year in the capital I immediately booked a flight. We got up at 4am and flew around 6am to see the sunrise. I have to say I was a little scared because of the height but in the end it was just beautiful adn breathtaking. You float over the hills, everything is quiet, there’s no wind and you enjoy the sun rising over the hills. It was so impressive and I can definitely recommend it to everybody.

LOCATION: MUNICH

If you follow me on instagram and snapchat (@viva_lamoda) you probably have seen my all white outfit. I've had this white suit thing for a longer time in my mind and thought it would be perfect for the press days here in Munich. Each piece is from a different store so I was really happy they matched. I think the suit is the perfect combination of elegant and cool! I'm also wearing my new Chloe Drew bag as well as Emian Bohe sunglasses.
