best of 2015

LOCATION: EARTH

Good morning! On the last day of the year I searched for around three hours and couldn’t decide which pictures should be in my end of the year post. I also wanted to show you some unpublished photos you haven’t seen before. If you follow me on Instagram you probably have seen that I already did a recap of my ‚top 10‘ and I feel so blessed that I saw so many beautiful places, met so many inspiring people and could work with amazing brands. And after all, beeing accepted at university at the ,first try‘ and beeing one of the lucky 30 students to study photography in my home town is a lifetime goal. I also turned 20 and feel more grown up and ready to rock 2016! I really have to say that 2015 was more than awesome and I constantly had to grin while seeing the pictures and my thoughts floated away in all the beautiful memories.

review: hotel salzburger hof

LOCATION: LEOGANG, AUSTRIA

Merry christmas, I hope you had a wonderful time with your family and loved ones! I used the university free time to prepare some blogposts for you, starting with a short review about the Salzburger Hof in Leogang, Austria. We had the chance to explore the hotel within our trip to the Heimat hotels in Austria. The hotel is located 20 meters from the lift to the mountains and as you see in my pictures you have a beautiful view from every room of the hotel. The highlight is the fitness room, overlooking the skiing areas and mountains from the top, there are also several activities and sports you can train as well as a huge outdoor climbing wall. We enjoyed a 60 minute massage, the spa aera with an outdoor pool and a seven course dinner which was so good! Thank you for having us!

new year's eve outfit

LOCATION: STUDIO, MUNICH

Happy weekend! Today I have a very special post for you, I teamed up with Otto and created my two in one favorite new year’s eve looks! Special about that: We shot the whole outfit in the studio with my friend Larissa and had so much fun and I’m super happy about the results! I usually wear sunglasses with my outfit posts or looks but this time you can see the whole ME - closer than ever ;) I’m looking forward to 2016 because I have so many exciting news! To name a few: I’m gonna work with a wellness hotel at the beginning of the new year, travel to Dubai in March, Iceland in August and the fashion week madness' s gonna be there of course. Please let me know your thoughts and what you would like to see on the website because I really want to put even more effort into it. To start the new year, I picked a whole Next look, ordered via otto.de. I like to add a lot of glam and glitter for new year’s and love the sequin heels, bag and dress. I combined it with a cashmere poncho or a winter pullover if it get’s colder at the party and I linked all items down below. Can’t wait to continue the journey with all of you!

weekend at the forsthofgut

LOCATION: LEOGANG

Last weekend I had the opportunity to stay at the Naturhotel Forsthofgut which is part of the ‚Heimathotels’  located in Leogang. It’s a two hours drive from Munich and we checked in in the evening, it gets dark at 4pm and we were surprised by a beautiful view over the mountains when we woke up. The room was fantasic, a perfect mix of classic and modern with a huge closet and the bath tub had a panorama window. The breakfast was just - mhhh - please take me back! As you know I love breakfast and brunch and everything that goes with it. The breakfast area is located at a restaurant that looks towards the mountains and you have 200 regional products to choose of. They had like 20 different kinds of cornflakes and fruits, bread, rolls, joghurt, muffins, omeletts, scrambled egg, waffles, marmelades, fish, sausages, honey, berry water, coffee and so on, like everything! We were super lucky to have a hotel tour afterwards and a program at the Salzburger Hof which I will talk about in the next post. We had an amazing 7 course dinner (vegan smoothie, salmon, kaviar, tomato gnocchi with mozarella and rucola, salty caramel cream desert, cheese) and enjoyed the spa area which will be even bigger in May - attention guys, there will be a panorama sauna, pool and whirlpool! How about that? You can book several massages, treatments and relax in the indoor and outdoor pool. The sauna area is huge and so beautiful, a perfect place to relax and calm down from the work stress, everything reminds you of nature and the hotel is one of the top 20 wellness hotels in Austria. Although the hotel has 90 rooms in different themed spaces you don’t feel crowded at all, I was very surprised by that. The hotel is also a two minutes walk away from the cable railway that brings you directly to the top of the Asitz, perfect for skiing, snowboarding and hiking. To sum up, the stay at the Forsthofgut was perfect and I would love to visit it again in summer!

perfect fit

LOCATION: ASITZ, AUSTRIA

This week I had the chance to test a new demin online store from Switzerland: Selfnation. You can choose from different styles, give them your measurements and within 10 days they produce your own jeans with your sizes and measurements and send it straight to your office or home. I chose the low waist Tokyo Knights (here) and I’m super happy with it! They produce the trousers in Italy or Germany which is a great way of manufacturing that should be supported more! During my trip to the mountains I wore it daily and here you can see the results!

For the colder days in Munich I love layering up, matching different patters and lenghts. I’m wearing a dress from Sheinside, a poncho from Otto, a coat from Edited and my Twin-Set clutch. I’m going to travel to Austria this friday and relax at the spahotel Forsthofgut. Can’t wait to escape the stress at university and of course I’m going to take you with me!

fringe poncho and overknee boots

LOCATION: MUNICH

Here is my first outfit in collaboration with Sheinside. Right now I’m super obsessed with overknee boots in every color for the windy season. Don’t you just love them, they are so warm and comfortable! I combined them with my Sheinside poncho and lace skirt, Twin-Set bag, Next cape and Claudia Schiffer sunnies. I’m super exited to announce that you can shop my clothes at the Kleiderkreisel christmas market in Munich this friday! Hope to see you guys there!

bay of fires

LOCATION: TASMANIA

The weather here in Germany is horrible - it is snowy and windy and there’s no chance of getting good outfit shots - tried it today and it ended up in a mess. To warm up a little I decided to go trough some photos from Tasmania. I really miss Australia and want to visit again! Took them at the Bay of Fires at the east coast. I hope you enjoy them!

I’m so exited to show you my last photos from New York! Dreaming back to beautiful weather and this amazing city, I’m a summer person and I miss going out in dresses. sydney recap

LOCATION: SYNDEY

Stumbled across pictures from Sydney while cleaning my laptop from unused files - they remind me of summer so I’m sorry but I needed to post them although I look a bit confused haha! I am wearing a jumpsuit I bought in a mall in Australia, a Michael Kors watch and Zara heels. Speaking about summer: I am thinking about flying somewhere in February / March where it’s not minus 5 degrees. I'm studying photography now in Munich and my semester holidays are four weeks long. Do you have any recommencations for Bali, Maldives, Abu Dhabi or other countries?

stopover in lisbon

LOCATION: PORTUGAL

On our way back from New York we had a stopover in Lisbon and of course needed to see the city, altough if it was just for a day. And I have to say you can easily explore Lisbon in one day, there are buses that go direct from the airport to the old town. We landed at 6 am and were completely jetlagged but at least there were no people around and we had the city in the morning hours just for ourselfes. Lisbon is full of beauty and worth a trip!

the camel coat

LOCATION: MUNICH

Time is running so fast and I can’t believe fall is nearly over. I’m preparing for the winter season now and as you probably know, it gets really really cold in Bavaria. So I’ve been craving overknee boots, parkas and fur jackets lately in order to wrap myself up like a cocoon. This is probably going to be the last fall outfit and I’m wearing a Edited coat, Zara skirt, blouse and heels and my Chloe Drew bag.

hello fall!

LOCATION: MUNICH

Saw this beautiful background around my corner and needed to take some photos. I’m wearing a comfy poncho from Edited.de, my new Balenciaga bag, black basic tee and shorts and Chanel espadrilles. I usually don’t like fall but this year makes it really hard not to love autumn with its beautiful light and colours, not windy and rainy as usual. I’ve been a busy bee last week and you’re going to see some amazing projects in the next months!

dumbo

LOCATION: BROOKLYN

I really loved Brooklyn and it’s relaxed vibes, it’s not as busy as Manhattan. Popular from the series Gossip Girl, we shot this in Dumbo with the Williamsburg Bridge in the backround. We used hard contrasts this time and I’m wearing a Zara pullover and shoes, Chloe Drew bag, Rodenstock sunglasses and a skirt I bought in New York.

LOCATION: NEW YORK

My third New York Fashion Week look is all about black. I’m wearing a MLM pullover (ordered at Revolve Clothing) to a Nastygal skirt and my PS11 with Mango heels. We shot this at the Brooklyn Bridge and my friend Noah was quite challenged to take photos without tons of people on it.

top of the rock

LOCATION: MANHATTAN

The view from the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center gets me everytime. Altough I’ve been there last time, too, staring at the view for probably three hours, you can’t take your eyes away every time you see the skyline of manhattan, no matter from what point it is. I’m still not sure what fascinates me of New York, as I’m more the suburb kind of kid. Someday, I will come back and stay for longer.

coney island

LOCATION: NEW YORK

When we had a bit time between the fashion madness we decided to travel to Coney Island which is about an hour drive from Manhattan. I loved the vibes at the funpark, it looked like a film scenery in an old movie and I loved the details, the old Wonder Wheel and the colored cotton candy. And at least we got to see the beach and feel the sand between the toes for the last time of this year! We also shot this editorial and I’m wearing a Marques Almeida dress, Chucks and Rodenstock sunglasses.

Good morning! I wanted to show you my  second New York Fashion Week look, I’m wearing a Monki Jumpsuit (which is on final sale, get it here), rochstud heeels, my chloe drew and Rodenstock sunglasses. @thestyleograph also shot some streetstyle photos of this look, which are featured in @whowhatwear. We took these photos in Soho and saw the icecream truck which makes a perfect background!

intercontinental times square

LOCATION: NEW YORK

Our home away from home for the New York Fashion Week was the Intercontinental Times Square. Intercontinental is a hotel luxury brand that offers guest unique experiences since 70 years. It's located in the heart of Manhattan and is the perfect point to explore the city. We had a double king size room in the 26th floor and were rewarded with a beautiful view over Manhattan to Jersey. We also had breakfast - or better say brunch - and it was seriously the best hotel breakfast I've seen. Berries, fruits, joghurts, bagels, dumplings, quiche, omelet, sandwiches, they had everything! Thanks for having us, it was a blast!

tassel heels

LOCATION: NEW YORK SOHO

My first look for New York Fashion Week is an easy going and comfy look. I’m wearing my new culottes from EDITED.DE and an off shoulder top from Asos. I found the Paul Walker tassel heels on sale and needed to buy them! They are my shoe investment for this year ;) So Fashion Week starts tomorrow and I’m super exited as it is my first season and it feels so good to be back in New York! I’m going to take you with me on my instagram (here).

25 hours hamburg

LOCATION: HAMBURG HAFEN CITY

In the beginning of this week we stayed in Hamburg with the 25 Hours Hotel Hafencity. And I have to say this was definitely the coolest hotel I’ve been to! It’s located at the seaside with views over the harbour and the hotel’s theme is so maritime - submarine toilets, container lobby and cabin rooms. There are 25 Hours Hotels in Vienna, Frankfurt, Berlin and Zurich and each one has a different theme and interior style. The details are so sweet and I’m looking forward to the opening in Munich 2017!

LOCATION: HAMBURG HARBOR CITY

When Deichmann invited me to fly to Hamburg and attending the launch of Hanneli Mustaparta’s new EDITED collection I of course didn’t say no. And this is one of the outfits I’ve been wearing in windy Hamburg. The weather changed constantly from rain to sun so I could finally wear my edited.de trenchcoat. I paired it with my Spell and the gypsy collective playsuit and my new Louis Vuitton monogram case.

Aaaand I continue with my Australia throwback - I found so many pictures and totally forgot to show you my camel ride along Uluru at sunrise which was a magical experience. LOCATION: MELBOURNE

If you follow me on Instagram you probably know that these pictures are not recent - I've been in Melbourne in April and in the city there's this awkward but somehow beautiful pink lake in the middle of a park. One thing I've been dying to visit while traveling through Down Under. Australia is a land full of surprises, beautiful nature and unique wildlife. That’s why I wanted to share these (late) photos with you. I’m craving to see more!

I’m also wearing my Rodenstock sunglasses, Mango heels and Pernille Corydon blacelet and rings. Next week is starting with a vacation in Bavaria, then we’re going to travel to Hamburg and afterwards to NY. I’m super exited and gonna take you with me!

getaway

LOCATION: ELOUNDA

This week is full of work and I'm dreaming back to this beautiful resort. We stayed at the 'Sentido Elounda Blu' hotel in Elounda, it takes approx 2 hours to get there from Crete's airport. That makes sure that you're far away from civilisation. The hotel upgraded us to a pool suite, which had a king size bed, a huge bath tub and a private pool on your terrace with an amazing view over the sea and to Spinalonga island. I can highly recommend the suites, they are brand new and stunning! Please take me back! (PS: You can shop the espadrilles in the following picture here)
